The "Belt and Road" Tourism Leisure Expo concluded at the Yinchuan Conference and Exhibition Center in Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on April 24.
Jointly held by the Ningxia Tourism Bureau, Expo Bureau and Tourism Group, the three-day event attracted 1000 government officials and tourism entrepreneurs from over 200 government agencies and tourism companies in Ningxia, Shaanxi, Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia and other provinces and autonomous regions. It served as a new platform for facilitating exchange and cooperation among tourism companies.
The event integrated tourism resources and products and promoted tourism cooperation between different cities. The newly designed "Belt and Road" tourism route met with warm responses among delegates and tourists during the event. The promotion of a self-drive event titled "Driving along the Silk Road, a Journey of China-Arab Friendship," which will be held in Ningxia this September, also won great popularity. It is reported that the motorcade will visit more than 20 cities throughout China, Pakistan, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
