The Emirates Airlines plans to launch a new air route connecting Dubai with Yinchuan and Zhengzhou, on May 3, following the Dubai-Guangzhou line opened in 2008, according to a meeting attended by Li Jianhua, the secretary of CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Committee, and the vice-president of Emirates Airlines.
Li expressed that Ningxia has geographical and resource competitiveness in developing aviation industry and is willing to enhance cooperation with Emirates Airlines in launching air routes, establishing airline companies and developing logistics and trade. Yinchuan is expected to become a crucial transportation hub and aviation logistics center during the westward opening-up process, he concluded.
