The Planning Scheme of Yinchuan International Airport Integrated Transport Hub was approved by the government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, according to Ningxia Development and Reform Commission on November 8.
With the extension of Yinchuan Airport, renovation of roads towards the airport, and the construction of the railways in the western part of Yinchuan, the city is to establish an integrated transport hub centering around the airport. The three concentric rings of the hub are, from the center to the brim, the business zone, the economic zone, and the outer zone.
The plan, listed as one of the “7+2” key projects in Ningxia, will offer passenger convenient choice of different transportation means.
