Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in western China initiated building a comprehensive transportation hub system incorporating airport, railways and highways, according to a themed conference on August 22. The international airports, which are planned to integrate airplane, high-speed railroad, suburban railway with buses can take tourists to anywhere they want.
As arteries connecting Ningxia with other places, airports and railways should be integrated. The plan would build up international airport while upgrading surrounding roads and railways, along with building regional airports to integrate multiple transportation modes and realize economic restructuring and industrial upgrading.
