The first mass sports meeting will be held in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from June to October, according to Ningxia Sports Bureau on June 2. The competition ground will be set on roads and lanes, communities, parks, schools, barracks and construction sites.
The citizens who have lived in Ningxia for over 6 months are all qualified for joining the event. The competition items include track and field, swimming, balls, rope skipping, fishing, tug of war, mountain climbing, shuttlecock, dragon boat and so on. Various sports performances will also be held during the event, including martial arts, Tai Ji, sports dances, yangko, basketball shooting, pop and tip, dart and others.
