From May 19 to May 23, a Ningxia delegation came to Fujian Province to enhance tourism exchanges and cooperation between the two provinces. The activities include holding introduction meetings, visiting key traveling companies and having talks with Fujian Tourist Bureau.
Fujian stressed building the “Maritime Silk Road” tourist brand as it was an important birthplace of the Maritime Silk Road, while Ningxia was also a place along the ancient Silk Road. With close and extensive exchanges and cooperation in economy, culture and tourism, the two sides shared partner assistance.
According to the new cooperation pact on tourism, the tourism authorities of both provinces recently reached the consensus on an action plan, which includes one message a week on the official We-chat to recommend each other; setting up the website links, enhancing promotion through media such as Ningxia Daily and Fujian Daily; providing publicity materials for each other in tourist attractions; exchanging advertising boards in famous scenic spots.
Ningxia and Fujian intended to jointly promote the maritime and land Silk Road Travel Cooperation and make new progress in tourism cooperation between the two provinces.
