The joint conference, attended by the directors of the development and reform commission and secretaries of transportation of Yinchuan and its neighboring cities was scheduled at May 26th in Yinchuan.
The conference, themed the One Belt and One Road initiative, aimed at actively exploring a new regional transportation mechanism of cooperation and exchange, vigorously promoting the connectivity of regional comprehensive transportation system and jointly building a new platform for regional opening and development.
Totally dealing with 11 projects including the Binggou Yellow River Bridge around the east foot of Helan Mountains in Yinchuan--- Chabusumu---Otog Banner---Hanggin Banner ---Ordos City Highway, the conference would be of great significance to foster regional cooperation in transportation infrastructure construction and industry development as well as promoting the co-development of regional transportation.
