The Ningxia delegation took part in the 11th Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair, which kicked off at the Shenzhen Conference and Exhibition Center in Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, on May 14.
The delicate folk art of paper-cut, vivid clay figures and beautiful Arabian calligraphy at the Ningxia booth attract many visitors during the event. Videos of splendid Ningxia sceneries, distinctive etiquette of Hui ethnic group, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions and scenic spots promotion were presented there and many visitors came to watch and ask for detailed information.
Being a state-level, international comprehensive cultural industry expo, the Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair with an exhibition area of 105,000 square meters contains 9 pavilions, including cultural industry, innovative design, film and animation, news publishing, Silk Road, artworks, intangible cultural heritage, cultural tourism and arts and crafts ones.
The Ningxia exhibition area is composed of cultural tourism, Ningxia specialties, intangible cultural heritage and major cultural enterprises sectors. The sceneries of Sand Lake, Shapotou District, wine produced at the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain, Chinese wolfberry in Zhongning County and media corporations were all promoted at the expo.
