The Ningxia branch of Huadian International reached an agreement with Xiji County to start the construction of million wind power facilities. The project is expected to complete in 2020 with a total investment of 12 billion RMB.
By far, Huadian has built wind power facilities in many areas of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The installed capacity of wind power reached 300MW and also has 10MW solar energy. By the end of 12th Five-year Plan, the operative capacity of wind power will total 1500 MW and solar energy will achieve 100MW.
