The press conference for the "Ningxia Culture Week" at the 15th China Shanghai International Arts Festival took place in Shanghai on November 5. "Ningxia Culture Week" will last from November 6 to 12 in Shanghai. This is the first time that Ningxia has participated in the Shanghai International Arts Festival as a guest province.
Jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Shanghai Municipal Government, the China Shanghai International Arts Festival is a major international cultural event and China's only national comprehensive international arts festival.
Since 2005, the Shanghai International Arts Festival has started to invite domestic guest provinces to participate in the Provincial Cultural Week, which has become an integrated part of each following festival. So far, Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Chongqing, Hong Kong and other provinces have organized the Cultural Week activity.
It was understood that "Ningxia Cultural Week" would entail art exhibitions, theatrical performances, square performances and cultural product trade fairs.
