An international automobile and motorcycle tourism festival is slated to kick off on August 11 in Yinchuan, capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, according to a recent news briefing held in Beijing.
The eight-day event features auto and motor rally races across Helan Mountain, Tengger Desert, prairie and Gobi.
The organizing committee will invite speed racer clubs at home and abroad, sponsor fleets and driving associations and clubs all around the country.
Visitors will have the chance to watch a parade of floats from 20 cities. Sideline activities include a music festival, an auto tourism expo, auto & motor sports to set Guinness World Records and a carnival for auto & motor fans.
