The Land and Resources Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region recently approved the use of land for the region's first clean coal generation program, to be administered by the Ningxia Power Group.
The program adopts coal quality grading technologies to make circular, graded, and high-efficiency use of coal, and to minimize the impact on the natural environment, a company spokesperson said.
The program will play a model role in optimizing the region's energy structure, improving the efficiency of coal use and promoting clean coal technology throughout the region, the company said.
