The first China-Arab Radio and Television Cooperation Forum will kick off on September 22 in Ningxia's capital city Yinchuan with the theme of "cooperation, communication and mutual development."
This forum will be hosted by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and the government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The two-day forum will focus on the Radio and TV policies of China and Arabic countries, communication and cooperation of the two sides, and the digitalization of radio and TV.
Nine Middle Eastern countries, including Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi, Sudan, Syria, Oman and Iraq have registered to attend. In addition, representatives from local and international media and universities will also attend.
The forum will facilitate personnel and information exchanges between China and Arabic media groups to encourage dialogue, said Niu Zhongqi, the assistant station chief of Ningxia Radio and TV.
