Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region has invested 2.28 billion yuan (US$352 million) in road construction in the first five months of the year. The region’s planned investment in roads is around 7 billion yuan (US$1 billion) for the year. Multiple key projects, including 700 kilometers of rural roads, are currently under construction.
