Guyuan City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is mulling over the construction of a 133-hectare comprehensive logistics industrial park, which is expected to be the model for underdeveloped regions in China. With an estimated investment of nearly 2 billion yuan (US$310 million), the park is one of the key logistical projects in Guyuan City in the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015). Surrounded by three highways, the park will become a transportation hub connecting Xi’an, Lanzhou and Yinchuan.
