The minimum living standard and subsidy level for urban and rural citizens will be increased in 2011, it was announced at the civil administration work conference of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on January 12.
The subsidy for urban citizens will increase by 20 to 30 yuan per person each month, while that for rural people will increase 300 yuan to 1,200 yuan per person every year. In addition, more than 550,000 senior and disabled people will receive practical assistance and get more allowance.
