The Xinchangshui Water Scenic Area in Taishan, southern China's Guangdong province, has been officially recognized as a provincial-level water scenic spot by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Water Resources.

It is the first provincial water scenic area in Taishan and one of the first in Jiangmen and the Xijiang River Basin.

Located in northeastern Taishan, the scenic area features Tangtian Reservoir, Xinchangshui River, and Wushishui River. Covering 791 hectares, it includes a 20.9-kilometer river and 129.7 hectares of water bodies. 

As a designated water scenic spot, it integrates water conservation with tourism, offering visitors a blend of natural beauty, ecological preservation, and recreational opportunities.
