Nestled on the southern bank of the Yangtze River, Lizhuang Ancient Town has a history stretching back nearly 1,500 years and serves as a living textbook of ancient architecture. Here you can find large groups of centuries-old, but well-preserved, residential houses, temples, towers and pavilions dotted around the paved ancient streets.
