A group of Tianchi Lakes, otherwise known as Heavenly Lakes, based in Arxan county at the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, is noted for its large numbers and high density. Arxan's Chaihe River scenic area has volcano landforms and a well-preserved primeval forest.
