Luding Bridge is located in the west of Luding County in Sichuan Province.It has 13 iron chains connecting both banks of the Dadu River. The Red Army soldiers climbed on the iron chains to take over the bridge after the enemy took away the plates during the Long March in May 1935. [China.org.cn/Photo by Wang Jun]
