A record-breaking 418 people gathered in the garden of the Sheraton Langfang Chaobai River Hotel in Beijing on Sunday to set a new Guinness World Records title - the most people eating breakfast in bed. The new mark was achieved with 418 of the 490 participants counting as valid while eating breakfast simultaneously in the space of five minutes. The attempt required participants not to touch their food before the off and remain seated against the backrest while eating. The previous record was held by Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai, which hosted 388 people. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
