'Lovers' Valley' in China's Anhui Province

Emerald Valley, also known as "Lovers' Valley", is located at the northern foot of Huangshan Mountain. It is about six kilometers long and has more than 100 emerald ponds.

During the day, as the sunlight moves, the ponds take on different colors, just like many emerald jades spreading over the valley. After sunset, the shadows of moon and mountain present another unique sight. The most famous scenic spots in the valley are Old Dragon Pool, Green Dragon Pool, Black Dragon Pool, White Dragon Pool and Emerald Pond.[China.org.cn]
