Day 7: Xitang Ancient Town 西塘古鎮(zhèn)

Known as one of the top six ancient towns in southern China, Xitang has a gentle climate, floating rills and a slow-paced lifestyle. Nine rivers converge in the town, dividing it into 8 sections that are linked together by 27 ancient bridges. The town is at its best as night falls or morning dawns.

Transport: First head to Jiashan County and then transfer to the town of Xiyang by bus, which takes about 20 minutes.
