Day 5: Wudalianchi Geopark（五大連池）

Wudalianchi Geopark, or "Five Big Linking Lakes", has five lakes with one linking the other. With its well-preserved volcanoes, the geopark has the most iconic cluster of recently active volcanoes in China and enjoys a good reputation as "a natural volcanic museum" and "an open volcanic textbook."

Transport: Take a train to Wudalianchi station or take a bus to Bei'an City, then transfer to the scenic spot by minibus or taxi.

Opening hours: 6am-6.30pm (Jun.1- Oct.31); 8am-5pm (Nov.1-May.31).

Ticket price: 240 yuan (Full pass).

Best time to visit: May.-Sept.
