Day 2: Tianshan Grand Canyon

The mysterious Tianshan Grand Canyon, also known as Keziliya Grand Canyon, has been formed by wind and rain over billions of years. "Keziliya" means "red cliff" in Uighur. The canyon is 5.5 kilometers long from east to west with strange-shaped gullies and stone formations throughout it.

Transport: Take a coach to Kuche County, and then rent a car along the G217 Road to the Grand Canyon.

Ticket prices: 40 yuan

Opening time: 8am-5pm

Best time to visit: Sep- Oct.
