Yijun, located in the juncture of the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi and the Central Shaanxi Plain, has been developing Longshan Mountain, Yunmengshan Mountain, and Fudi Lake, each with a nice ecological environment and profound historical and cultural heritage, and has obtained very good results. Last year, Yijun attracted 553,000 tourists and generated a comprehensive income of 292 million yuan.

At present, the whole county has already established one famous provincial-level tourist town, six provincial or city level rural tourist model villages, and 22 star-rated happy farmhouses. The county is also developing its local specialties including apple, walnut, and straw fine dried noodles, as well as its traditional handicrafts including Yijun farmers’ paintings and paper cutting.
