Situated in Qishan County, Baoji City, Fengming Town earned its current name because of the legendary story in which "The phoenix once cried in Qishan." The town is the place where the Duke of Zhou reinforced system of rites and music; Cangjie invented the Chinese characters, and Li Chunfeng from the Tang Dynasty was born, and is therefore acclaimed as the land of Zhou rites. Qishan Noodles with ingredients, a local delicacy that dates back to the Western Zhou Dynasty, is praised as a delicious food from heaven. The Xiqi Folk Village is known as the first folk village in Shaanxi Province because of Qishan Noodles with ingredients, known both at home and abroad as a famous delicacy.
