In the afternoon, we visited a museum in Wujiaqu. The place is built in commemoration of the history of the 6th Division of XPCC. The museum is divided into two floors. The ground floor relays the events during the Sino-Japanese War to visitors and it also gives a brief introduction to the army generals that have made great contributions to the war effort while on the second floor, it shows the involvement of the division in Xinjiang's agricultural development. On display are mud huts that they used to live in in order to escape the region's harsh climate, the clothes they wore and the equipment they used to farm the land.
