Huang Xiaoxiao, an IFC customer told the Global Times that what first attracted her to the mall was the variety of new names that were being brought to Shanghai.

"Especially Super City, which is a comparatively high-end supermarket," she said. "But it's not only about buying more expensive products; you can also get imported food and home décor products that you would rarely see elsewhere. They also stock Lomo camera accessories."

While for customer Yu Dong, the IFC mall "mainly focuses on rich people, so unfortunately, I'm not their target customer. But if I was, I would find it very convenient to shop in such a mall with so many brands. There are so many choices here that I wouldn't need to shop anywhere else."
