Mascots from different pavilions are doing their share of the job of appealing and impressing visitors. Today, let's go meet some of most popular ones at expo park.

For those born in the 1970s and 80s, smurf is part of everyone's childhood memory.

Smurfs, the blue elf-like creatures, hit China with a cartoon series and won countless Chinese fans.

From books and toys, to T-shirts and chocolate, these little creatures are almost everywhere inside the Belgium Pavilion. The Belgians definitely know how to satisfy Chinese people's obsession with smurfs.

The Mole from Czechoslovakia is another foreign cartoon character popular with the Chinese. The first film called "How the mole got his pants" was released in 1956. Since then around 50 episodes have been created.

Little Atai represents the Thailand Pavilion. Dressed in traditional Thai attire, Atai has green skin, which implies the prolific land of Thailand. He holds a magic wand that is said to be able to create happiness and materialize dreams.

In Singapore pavilion, the "Durian Star" is inspired by Merlion, the signature statue of Singapore and the country's favorite fruit, Durian.
