Kwok's image earns contract

Foreign fashion brands are increasingly showing a preference for Chinese entertainers. British label Kent & Curwen has announced the appointment of Hong Kong entertainer Aaron Kwok as its brand ambassador; while US-based Cotton Council International (CCI) invited Taiwan's Barbie Hsu, also known as Big S, to lend her talents to fashion designs.

Kent & Curwen has the Lion Heart logo, which was used by King Richard I and is now exclusive to the brand.

Kent & Curwen chose Kwok because of his hard working and positive image. His first task is to visit the label's London flagship store to experience the brand's royal culture.

Big S, who promotes an eco-friendly way of life, has been a CCI favorite for years. The organization, which works on promoting the use of cotton, also advocates a natural lifestyle.

'Dinosaurs' roam Earth

Dinosaurs will roam again at Wukesong Arena this October, as the show Walking With Dinosaurs, The Arena Spectacular prepares to visit China.

It features 20 life-size dinosaurs, created by the world's most famous designers and scientists, including the tyrannosaurus, torosaurus and stegosaurus. The story is all about their lives about 200 million years ago when they dominated the earth. The smallest dinosaur appearing is 3-meters high, and the largest is 9 m and controlled by three operators.
