On August 19, 2010, China Southern Airlines will launch an international route between Beijing and Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also the economic, cultural and transport center of the country.

This will be the first and only route between China and Uzbekistan operated by a Chinese airline, and it is expected to further promote economic and trade exchange between the two countries.

According to plan, there will be two flights each week: on Thursdays and Sundays. The flights will depart from Beijing at 16:20 and get to Tashkent at 19:40 local time; return flights will leave Tashkent at 20:50 and arrive at Beijing at 05:50 local time.
