China Southern has recently launched a new scheduled flight from Zhengzhou in Henan to Bangkok.

Formerly a charter flight, the Zhengzhou-Bangkok route is upgraded to a scheduled flight with one flight each day. The flight departs from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport at 16:30 Beijing time and arrives at Bangkok at 21:30 local time after a stopover in Guangzhou; and it returns from Bangkok at 9:40 local the following day, arriving at Zhengzhou at 14:50 Beijing time.

The new route is reportedly the first direct scheduled air route from Henan to Southeast Asia and it reinforces the strategic cooperation agreement signed between China Southern and Henan government.
