As an essential staple in Chinese cuisine, noodles appear frequently on people's dining tables. Chinese noodles vary widely in their shape, width, ingredients and accompaniments. With rich colors and aromatic flavors, noodles can require complicated preparations. Noodles can be regarded as a symbol of Chinese culture.

China Central Television and China Cuisine Association recently released a list of the top 10 renowned Chinese noodles. The world-famous Beijing Noodles with Soybean Paste and Sichuan's Dandan Noodles are among them.
