The 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2015) will kick off on April 22 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai).

Established in 1985, the biennial auto carnival has become a marked event for the industry calendar. This year's fair will prove more remarkable than ever as all the major brands from China and abroad are showing up with a full array of world-class debuts.

A total of 1,343 models are expected on stage during the eight-day exhibition, including 109 global debuts and 44 Asian premieres. Forty-seven concept cars and 103 new energy models will be exhibited.
