Jiangxi-based sdaxue.com, a website created to help students to choose which university to attend, recently released its 2014 list of the top 100 most popular universities for students taking China’s college entrance exam.

The list was based on data about 4.86 million students provided by the official websites of the 10 provincial education examination authorities with the largest numbers of students taking part in the exam, including Guangdong, Henan, and Shandong.

This list of the top 10 most popular liberal arts universities in China, based on the list by sdaxue.com, shows readers where most top-scoring students taking part in the college entrance exam in 10 Chinese provinces send their college applications.
