Ma Huateng's family with Tencent Holdings Ltd, retained the championship as the richest family in China for two consecutive years, with a total value of 100.7 billion yuan (US$16.23 billion), according to the latest rich list of Chinese families published by Money Week, a Guangzhou-based wealth management journal recently.

The first three spots were taken by Internet software and service companies, showing the amazing potential and opportunities of the industry. On the other hand, traditional manufacturing enterprises declined markedly this year.
