Marla Maples, an American actress, television personality and socialite, is best known for her marriage to property mogul and reality television star Donald Trump. The businessman married his second wife at a lavish social event at the Grand Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel in New York on Dec. 20, 1993. The wedding was characterized by the luxury hotel, six-feet-high wedding cake and US$ 2 million bride tiara, set with diamonds. The marriage ended in divorce.
