The latest Forbes China Rich list reveals that real estate tycoon Wang Jianlin has retained the title of the richest person on the Chinese mainland.
Wang, chairman of the Dalian Wanda Group, one of China's largest real estate developers, possesses a total net wealth of US$15.1 billion, higher than his total wealth of US$14.1 billion last year.
According to the report, 152 richest people on the Chinese mainland make the list, with an accumulated wealth of US$374.8 billion.
A large number of rich people come from the real estate industry, food and beverages, pharmaceutical and medical, retail and raw materials, as well as the mobile Internet industry. Some of them have started diversified businesses to pursue greater profits.
The following are the top 10 richest people on the Chinese mainland in 2014, as ranked by Forbes.
