You wouldn't expect a 38-year-old Oxford graduate to have the nicest pair of legs in Hollywood. But the photos of Kate Beckinsale in a short black dress at 2011's San Diego Comic Con are simply astounding. Those stems, plus her huge smile and quirky British personality have us wishing she'd do more than just action movies. Why can't she do some artistic nudity in an indie film, like Kate Winslet? While we like that she's cast in the upcoming remake of Total Recall, we doubt she'll play the topless, three-breasted prostitute.

Natalie Portman

Three words: lesbian love scene. Even if you hate dark psychological thrillers and ballet, you still saw Black Swan for Portman's sex scene with Mila Kunis. Totally worth it, right? While Portman spent much of 2011 pregnant, her fans still got plenty from this Oscar winner. She followed up her critically lauded mind-f*ck with a sex comedy, a stoner comedy and superhero blockbuster. It's great to see a gorgeous intellectual who's down with comic books, making out with other girls and who has a great sense of humor.
