 Ding has compiled more than 190 competitive century breaks, and has made 147 maximum breaks in professional competition. In December 2006, he enrolled at Shanghai Jiao Tong University to study business administration and management.Born in 1987, Ding Junhui is still young but is considered the most successful snooker player in China. He is hailed as "China's snooker prodigy" and "the star of the east".
