Hangzhou
Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang Province, is located in the Yangtze River Delta region. Thanks to its advantageous position on Hangzhou Bay 180 kilometers southwest of Shanghai, the city has developed rapidly in recent years, and become one of the most renowned and prosperous cities of China. With its beautiful natural scenery including West Lake, Hangzhou is also one of the most visited travel spots in the country. In 2010, the average housing price in Hangzhou was the highest of any city in China, at 25,840 RMB per sq m.
