The Chery Cowin is a 5-door, 1.5 L petrol engine liftback produced by Chery Automobile Ltd. in Wuhu, Anhui Province. The company is a large Chinese homegrown carmaker, has made and sold over 400,000 Cowin series cars since it launched the A-class sedan model in 2001. Of the total Chinese proprietary A-class sedan models, Chery Cowin is the first to reap sales of 400,000 cars. 173,500 units of this model were sold last year.
