Chinese players bagged all the four gold medals on Sunday in the
ProTour tournament of table tennis or the Liebherr Slovenia Open
2006, which started on Wednesday at the northern town of
Velenje.
The men's and women's finals were all Chinese affairs. Top seed
Guo Yue beat her teammate Chen Qing 11-6, 11-7, 11-6, 11-3 in the
women's final, while Wang Hao succeeded in six games against his
compatriot Chen Qi.
In the men's doubles final, the Chinese pairing of Hao Shuai and
Ma Long faced the partnership of China's Li Ping and Croatia's Roko
Tosic. Hao and Ma stopped the momentum of Li and Tosic with 11-4,
11-9, 6-11, 11-6, 11-9.
Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia collected their first women's doubles
title on the ProTour tournament by defeating Sun Beibei and Wang
Yuegu from Singapore 7-11, 11-5, 7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 11-4.
