Defending champion Guangdong celebrated a record 14th straight victory of the CBA season after beating Zhejiang on New Year's Day.

Guangdong overcame a first quarter deficit to smash Zhejiang 120-97 at home.

Yi Jianlian hit a game-high of 35 points and nine rebounds for Guangdong. Zhu Fangyu and Du Feng had 19 and 16, respectively.

Millage Curtis led Zhejiang with 20 points, and Samake Soumaila added 18 points and 11 rebounds.
