The 2025 ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships will be held at the Capital Indoor Stadium in Beijing from March 14 to 16. 

Around 170 athletes from over 30 countries and regions are expected to compete. Tickets for the event went on sale on Sunday, offering audiences five pricing tiers. 

During the six-leg 2024–2025 ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Cup series, China secured five gold, two silver, and five bronze medals. In December 2024, during the Beijing stop of the World Cup held at the Capital Indoor Stadium, the Chinese team clinched gold in the men's 500 meter, mixed team relay, and men's 5,000 meter relay events.

The Capital Indoor Stadium was a venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games.
