Chinese Super League (CSL) club Chengdu Rongcheng announced the signing of eight players on Tuesday -- the last day of the CSL transfer window.

Notable among the eight are midfielder Pedro Delgado, goalkeeper Liu Dianzuo, midfielder Liao Lisheng, striker Han Pengfei and Issa Kallon, who all have made their marks on China's top flight.

In addition, Chengdu also signed midfielder Yang Mingyang, and defenders Yuan Mincheng and Wang Dongsheng.

Chengdu Rongcheng will play the qualifiers of the AFC Champions League Elite after having finished third in the 2024 CSL.

Chengdu will face Wuhan Three Towns in the 2025 CSL season opener on Saturday.
