Women runners race half marathon in Beijing's Yanqing

A women's half marathon kicks off on April 16 in Xiangying township, northwestern Beijing's Yanqing district.Over 500 runners participate in the event, which is comprised of three groups in different lengths - 21k, 8.5k and 5k races. Racers are able to enjoy the beautiful rural scenery when running across the village, apricot flower fields and forestsin Xiangying, reputed as Village of Apricot Flower in Beijing.
