Myanmar will host a five-country boxing tournament at Thuwunna stadium in Yangon next month, organizers said on Saturday.

Jointly organized by Sports and Physical Education Department and Myanmar Traditional Boxing Federation, the boxing tournament will take place on Dec.11 and Dec.18, with boxers from Armenia, Russia, Thailand, Iran and host Myanmar taking part.

On Dec.11, Saw Nga Man will fight with Kitiporn (Thailand) and Yan Naing Aung will meet with Bwarlon (Thailand) while Saw Ohn Myint with Thet Thi Aung, Soe Moe Hein with Soe Htet Oo, Thapyay Lon with Daung The Che and Thar Thar with Ka Nyaw Htoo.

On Dec.18, Yan Gyi Aung will meet with Davit (Armenia) while Tun Tun with Serikov (Russia), Soe Lin Oo with Mankonton (Thailand).
