Wu Jingyu of China beat Erika Kasahara of Japan to take the women's 49kg taekwondo gold medal at the 16th Asian Games on Wednesday.

Chanapa Sonkham of Thailand and Vu thi Hau of Vietnam shared the bronze medals.
